Preparation | Cis-2-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride is prepared as follows: 1) Cyclohexene (5.00g;51.99mmol) is slowly added to a mixture of cooled m-chloroperbenzoic acid (9.87g;57.19mmol) in 125ml CH2Cl2. The reaction mixture was gradually warmed to room temperature overnight. The mixture was filtered, washed with concentrated NaHCO3 and concentrated in vacuum to obtain light yellow oily cycloheptene oxide, which is directly used in the next step. 2) In a sealed tube, cyclohexene oxide (5.44g;48.50mmol) and ammonium hydroxide solution (10ml) in 4ml of methanol are heated to 80°C for 72 hours. After removing the heat, the mixture was vacuum concentrated to obtain cis-2-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride. |
application | cis-2-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride can be used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical synthesis. |
